Last weekend was the center of Batalha occupied by soldiers and their camp. The life of the knights and soldiers from the Middle Ages was central. There were sword fights and fires. At the end of the day there was a huge firework spectacle for young and old. The event attracted much attention from locals and tourists.
The weather was very nice the last few weeks. Only yesterday we had rain, but today the sun is already shining. A lot of our guests who visited our Bed and Breakfast enjoyed in the area. At the end of the day, they coming back and have time for a swim, a drink or a nice talk with other guest on the terrace. In our common room we have a small fridge. If you like you can drink an Ice tea, a beer or a glass of wine. You like tea or coffee……………. no problem! We make it for you!

Zoover is the most visited vacation website! Today we received from Zoover a mention on the internet for Recommended Accommodation! Of course we are very proud!
Yesterday (25th of April) it was Dia da Liberdade in Portugal! We celebrated this day with Portuguese, English and Dutch people. Francine , Loek and Rene organized a carbootsale. You could buy books or many other things, but also ’ bitterballen and erwtensoep’ ………….. typical Dutch and delicious! Next year we will be there again!

Today one of our guests made the first dive in the swimming pool for this season! A little bit cold but after a few minutes it was delicious!
The coming week seems the weather to remain stable again! The pool is Monday, April 4 prepared for the summer. The cover is taken down, cleaned and stored for winter. So our guests can again enjoy a refreshing swim.
